On the morning of December 6, the inauguration ceremony of the International Brain Science Engineering Research Center of Anhui University was held on Qingyuan campus. Cai Jingmin, secretary of the school party committee, and Professor Zhang Gong, dean of Sino-Canada Health and engineering Research Institute, attended the ceremony and unveilthenameplateforthe International Brain Science Engineering Research Center of Anhui University. At the unveiling ceremony, more than 200 personsattended the ceremonyincluding Heads of relevant functional departments and representatives of teachers and students.

The Dean of the Research Institute Zhang Gong was appointed as the director of the research center. At the unveiling ceremony, Cai Jingmin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Anhui University, issued theletter of appointment to Zhang Gong on behalf of the University.

Cai Jingmin expressed his gratitude to Zhang Gong for his long-time supportto the development and construction of the university, and give congratulation onthe establishment of the International Brain Science Engineering Research Center of Anhui University. He hopes that under the leadership of Professor Zhang Gong, the scientific research team of the center will further focus on the field of brain science, meet the needs of society, continue to increase research investment, strive to obtain more iconic scientific research results, and make contributions to the life and health of the people as well as the University and make newachievements inthe future development for "double first-classUniversity Plan".

For ourresearch institute, the International Brain Science Engineering Research Center of Anhui University is an innovative practice base for the company and universities to carry out industry-university-research cooperation. The center has more than a dozen professors, associate professors, and doctors who are engaged in software research as well as thedevelopment and intelligent algorithm research. This provides strong support for the company's PET imaging technology and intraoperative MRI technology.
